The Winning Inning’s Summer High School Wood Bat Baseball Series
June 14 - 15, 2011 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
The Winning Inning’s Summer High School Baseball Series Tournament will feature High School teams from around the State in competition against each other. All three games are 7 innings, and a 10 run rule will be in effect after the 6th inning. There is a 2 hour 15 minute time limit. High School rules will apply
in general. The concept is to play innings, get at bats, pitch and take advantage of the summer season.
Teams: Made up of 2012 high school teams that represent one high school.
No 2011 graduating seniors.
Format: Single elimination format. The team that goes 3-0 in bracket play will win the tournament. All teams will get three games. Losing teams will play consolation games according to the eight team bracket.
Games: All teams will play three games. No time limit in championship game but 10 run rule in effect after 6 innings. Tie breaker games will be determined by loading the bases with the last three batters from the previous inning and start the inning with no outs. This format will continue until a winner is determined.
Tuesday – June 14
Single games – Winners advance into winner’s bracket and losers advance
into loser’s bracket. You must win all three of your games to win the tournament. Out of town teams may play later in the day but all teams will
play one game on Tuesday.
Wednesday – June 15
Games will start at 9am with each team playing two games Wednesday.
Times are determined once you win or lose and a bracket will be posted
once all the teams sign up. The two teams that lose their first two games
will play each other in a consolation game that day.
Event site: Jack Russell Stadium and Joe DiMaggio Fields
Number of Teams: Eight Teams – first eight teams to pay will be in the event.
Cost: $350 if paid by June 1 ($400 after June 1st), baseballs You will have to supply your own baseballs (at least three per team) and shag those that leave the field.

Concession stand: A concession stand will be provided at both locations. Team coolers only may be brought into the parks. No coolers may be brought in by spectators.
Water Coolers and Cups provided for the teams.
Admission: for spectators over the age of 12 will be $5.
