2008 The Winning Inning Invitational Showcase: October 22, 2008 The Winning Inning Invitational Showcase, which will be held at 3:30 pm on October 22, 2008, is your chance to play in front of college coaches and professional scouts.  Only the elite Student-Athletes in the Tampa Bay area are invited to participate in the 2008 showcase at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium.  The cost for this years showcase is only $50 dollars. Field Names and Directions Jack Russell Countryside High School East Lake High School Hoyt Field Huggins Joe DiMaggio Fields Lake Vista Mitchell High School Northwest Complex Tack Fields Jack Russell: Take US 19 to Drew St. and head west to Betty Lane - Turn Right and take 2nd left after railroad tracks - turn left onto Seminole Ave - stadium is on your right about 1/4 mile. Countryside High School: Take US 19 to 580.  Turn right and go past the Westfield (Countryside) Mall.  Go past Countryside Blvd. and past Landmark Ave.  School is on your left just before McMullen Booth Road. Turn into High School and field is on the Northwest side of the school. East Lake High School: Take East Lake Road north past Lansbrook Golf Course on your left.  Turn left at Bryan Lane (7-11 on corner). Hoyt Field: Take the Bayside Bridge and follow 49th street to 22nd avenue south.  Turn west and go to 56th street.  Turn left. Huggins: Take 275 South to 22nd Ave North - turn left and go to 5th Street (Crescent Lake) and turn right. Joe DiMaggio Fields: Take US 19 to Drew street and head west.  Take a right at the first light which is Old Coachman Road.  The two fields are on your left about 100 yards down the road. Lake Vista: Take 275 south to 54th avenue south exit.  This is the last exit before the Skyway Bridge.  Head east onto 54th avenue south.  Turn right on 16th Street.  The fields are next to Lakewood High School. Mitchell High School: Take East Lake Road north to Trinity Blvd.  Take Trinity Blvd. to Little Road and turn left.  The school will be just past Mitchell Road on the left.  School is located less than on mile south of SR54 on the west side of Little Road. Northwest Complex: Take US 19 south.  Turn Right onto 22nd.  Take 22nd until you cross over 58th.  The complex is on the right. The physical address is:  5801 22nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg. Tack Fields: Take US 19 to Sunset Point - head west to Hercules - turn right and fields are 1/4 mile on right.
